Accessibility

At San Pietro, we understand that accessibility is important to our customers, and the team has taken measures to ensure that the restaurant, hotel and function room can be enjoyed by everyone.

Restaurant

Our restaurant is wheelchair friendly; the double door entrance is step-free which enables customers to enter the restaurant comfortably. The main restaurant and bar area are on one ground-level floor too which leads out to the courtyard. In the restaurant, you will find an accessible toilet just off the main dining area. We also have a dedicated parking bay just next to the front of the restaurant.

Hotel

In the hotel, we do have a dedicated accessible room on the ground floor which features a wet room, pull-down wardrobe facilities, a lower desk and also plenty of extra room should guests need a wheelchair or walker. This room has a super king size zip-and-lock bed which can be made into a twin if required for those travelling with family or carers. The bathroom also has a red pull-down cord in case of an emergency that calls through to the main reception area, this is the same for our downstairs accessible toilet in the hotel reception. Our hotel reception desk has a lower area so we can greet guests according to their needs.

All of our bedrooms are equipped with a bath and separate shower, we also have a fully accessible lift which can be used for rooms on the 1st or 2nd floor. Our team is dedicated to our guests from the moment they book, we ensure we gather guest details and always make sure we ask if guests have any accessible requirements. We are currently working towards launching a new booking system with our host Alacer to ensure guests who book online will be able to add notes to their booking regarding any specific requirements.

Additional facilities

Both our hotel and restaurant have changing facilities. When joining us in our function room for an event we always recommend our reception area as one of our quieter spaces for guests to use if required, lights can be dimmed and our soundproofing walls mean that guests can have some quiet time away from events if needed.

In case of emergency

Our team members are trained on a safe evacuation plan should there ever be an emergency. We have recently invested in an evacuation chair for our hotel for the top two floors and training has been provided to our senior staff members and housekeeping team to ensure any evacuations can be managed professionally and effectively.
